22 Weeks!
If you're planning on following (loosely or religiously) the 24 week training schedule here is this week:
Monday: Rest
Tuesday: 3 easy miles
Wednesday: Rest
Thursday: 4 moderate miles
Friday: 30 minutes of cross training
Saturday: 5 easy miles
Sunday: 3 easy miles
Easy miles are considered 2-3 miles per hour on flat terrain and moderate miles are considered 3-4 miles an hour plus hills.
Miles start to creep up now. If you are sticking to the plan at the end of this week you’ll have 40 miles under your belt. Funny to think that it took 3 weeks to walk what you’ll do in 2 days in August!
